Kate Middleton attended a football match yesterday in a break away from the very formal events she is often photographed at. The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted happily sitting with husband Prince William, eldest son Prince George and daughter Princess Charlotte and cheering on the game. The Royal Family were at a Premier League match between Norwich City and Aston Villa at Carrow Road in Norwich. Kate chose to wear a casual look for the sporting event and wore a low-key outfit.
The Duchess of Cambridge shunned her normally chic wardrobe of heels and dresses in favour of a more relaxed look.
Kate wore a dark puffa jacket which she kept zipped up against the cold as the Autumn UK weather set in.
Underneath, the mother-of-three sported a dark-coloured polo neck as she sat in the back row at the match.
She also appeared to be wearing a pair of dark skin-tight trousers.
Kate kept her hair loose for the match to go with her casual look and her glossy brown locks fell about her shoulders.
Gold hoops in her ears added a flash of brightness to her otherwise sombre ensemble.
Prince William, meanwhile, sported a more colourful look with a blue jumper and blue shirt.
Both he and son George support Aston Villa and the little future King wore the Birmingham cub’s T-shirt for the match.
It was the first time George has attended such a match. Princess Charlotte also joined the day out.
It is likely Prince Louis, four months, was back at home being looked after by the family’s nanny.
Last week Kate Middleton joined Prince William as the couple were hosted by the spiritual leader, the Aga Khan, 82.
The Duchess looked elegant in a turquoise dress which was given a hint of colour with a bright green tie around her waist.
Her stunning dress had a high neck and loose fit with pleats down the top and skirt.
The teal dress was the Amanda silk-georgette maxi dress by Aross Girl X Soler which is now on sale for £577, down from £825.
Her floor-length garment had long loose sleeves which puffed out before they cuffed in at her wrists.
It was tailored by a green and emerald band which nipped her in at the waist before continuing into a pleated skirt.
